THE MUSIC OF HARMONY
Harmony Park is operated by the City of Eureka Springs, separately from the parks and recreation department.Â

In 2013, a neglected parcel of land was transformed into the Eureka Springs Interactive Music Park. The project was funded by grants from the Eureka Springs Arts Council and the Arkansas Arts Council. The concept for the Music Park was a collaboration between Ranaga Farbiarz and Sandy Royce Martin. The Music Park was a huge hit with locals and visitors.

In 2024, Ranaga Farbiarz passed away. With that loss, maintenance and tuning of the instruments he created was no longer a possibility.Â
​
Spring of 2025, Eureka was hit with several violent storms. A large tree fell on the centerpiece instrument in the park damaging the arbor-like structure called GPAC that was tuned to play "Give Peace A Chance". (In honor of Ranaga, GPAC has been re-fabricated and will once again reside in a prominent position in Harmony Park.)

Thanks to the vision and generosity of the Banks Family Foundation -Â the concept of Harmony Park was born.
